The Management Board of VIGO Photonics S.A. (the "Company", the "Issuer") hereby informs that it has received information on the signing of the co-funding agreement for the project entitled "Detectors and integrated detection modules for industrial and medical applications adapted for surface mounting" (the "Project") under Priority V of the European Funds for a Modern Economy Programme 2021-2027.
The STEP call for proposals – Pathway A: digital technologies and innovations within deep tech, is aimed at the development of critical technologies and technologies aimed at protecting and strengthening relevant value chains of critical technologies in the digital technologies and innovations within the deep tech sector. The Project will be implemented by a scientific and industrial consortium led by VIGO Photonics. The Military University of Technology (Wojskowa Akademia Techniczna) will act as the consortium member.
The total amount of eligible costs of the Project is PLN 17,990,590.34, while the co-funding amount is PLN 12,082,892.69, which constitutes 67.16% of the total costs eligible for support. The Issuer's eligible costs amount to PLN 16,332,340.34, and the co-funding for the Company amounts to PLN 10,424,642.69.
The duration of both the Project and the co-funding is 36 months. The implementation of the Project will commence on July 1, 2026.
The objective of the project "Detectors and integrated detection modules for industrial and medical applications adapted for surface mounting" is to develop new products in the form of a family of mid-infrared (3-5 μm) sensors adapted for surface-mount technology: uncooled detectors made of III-V materials and complete detection modules (detector + readout circuit) utilizing dedicated application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs), eliminating traditional wire-bonding methods in favor of SMD micro-surface mounting. These will include:
-Detectors and integrated detection modules with a detector optimized for a wavelength of 3.3 μm, adapted for surface mounting.
-Detectors and integrated detection modules with a detector optimized for a wavelength of 5.0 μm, adapted for surface mounting.
Taking into account the value of the co-funding obtained, the Issuer assesses that it will be of significant importance from the standpoint of the Issuer's financial position, strategy implementation, and development prospects.
The Issuer previously informed about securing the Project's co-funding in Current Report No. 12/2026 dated May 29, 2026.
